The Simrad Halo 3000 radar is a high-resolution, volume-reflective Doppler radar. It uses spiral-scan radar technology to provide wide and comprehensive radar coverage, with high resolution and low latency. The Halo 3000 can be used for a variety of applications, including target detection and location, navigation surveillance, level-crossing surveillance, traffic monitoring, and port and coastal surveillance. Thanks to its high-quality performance and reliability, the Halo 3000 is considered one of the best radars on the market.
Its advanced pulse compression technology enables you to detect birds, hazards and storms with superior accuracy over short and long distances (up to 96 nautical miles). The range of preset modes and enhanced power also offer constant peace of mind.
Available in 3 beam sizes, the Halo 3000 radar offers the performance of a 25 kW magnetron:
- Halo 3004 beam radar antenna Simrad 130 Watts in 4′ – (4.70 feet – 143.2 cm)
- Halo 3006 beam radar antenna Simrad 130 Watts in 6′ – (6.69 ft – 203.9 cm)
A less advanced version of the Halo 3000 radar, with a shorter range, is the Simrad Halo 2000 radar.
